My Alopecia Journey

Sorry that I have not posted for a few weeks but I was in hospital so here’s the latest update. I am still making good progress so far and the top is starting to grow. It is not great in the pictures but it’s there and for some reason it’s circling towards the middle the back and sides is doing really well so let’s hope the middle catches up soon  has anyone else noticed growth like this?  Dare to dream xxxx

  Last night I had a dream that my hair started falling out again. I am scared. When I had seasonal alopecia my hair fell out so much in August every year without fail and started to grow back in March. This was unknown to the healthcare professionals hence I had the paper published (you can see the paper on my blog) I know I am been negative but I am now so paranoid and checking my head constantly. As much as I hope this treatment will work I am so scared it’s a fluke and I will be bald again soon. Alopecia is so hard to comprehend, part of me wants to feel hope but the other part of me expects failure. How do we deal with this?     As you all know I have always used this blog to be open and honest and I won’t lie I am scared right now. Is having hair,  eyelashes and eyebrows too much to hope for? I keep checking my pillow for hairs as I feel certain I’m not going to have my dream come true. Imagine living a life hoping, not a single hair will be shed!!! I’m not ask...

 Omg I have dreamt about having eyelashes for so many years and thanks to Litfulo they are starting to grow better. Unfortunately I only have a crappy old mascara but maybe it’s time to invest in a new one.  Dare to dream xxxx

 I have had a few messages from people asking if Litfulo causes side effects. I can say so far nothing much since March. I had a bit of heartburn at the start but not enough to concern me as I have had it randomly for years. Another comment is about weight gain and I have been losing weight since I started taking it on top of that my cholesterol has actually gone down. I haven’t changed my diet or lifestyle so who knows it may be Litfulo is the cure we will never know until it is tried and tested over a period of time.   Dare to dream xxxx

 Latest pictures I have hair on back and sides which is obvious and the hair on the top of my head is starting to grow. I look like a balding man 😝. The hair seems to be starting on the sides and circling towards the middle from the outside in.  Dare to dream xxxx

 I only have an old mascara but had to share the results. There were no lashes at all before I started Litfulo but as you can see they are coming on slowly Dare to dream xxxx

 This is so exciting, I cannot believe the progress. Let’s hope it stays  Dare to dream xxxx
