I want to cry right now. 2 days ago I found a 10p sized bald patch on the left side of my head. Today it’s the size of at least a 50p. What’s weird is where has that part of my tattoo gone? Devastated does not come close to how I am feeling right now. I was so hopeful and I am worried this is it for me again. I was doing so well and I have been so happy having hair, I know the top hasn’t grown the way I want but I can live with that. It sounds silly but having a ponytail has been so exciting for me as it’s a dream come true for me. However the bald patch today had sent me in a spiral as all I can think about is how it used to be. I am trying to tell myself that unlike before I am not losing clumps of hair but I don’t know if I can cope with losing all my hair again. I had a dream and scared that this is been taken away by the evil that is alopecia. I fu**ing hate this. I am so ashamed to post this but when I started this blog I promised I would be honest and I...
Hi everyone. Today marks my 9 month journey on Litfulo. Have a little ponytail and the top is starting to grow in. When I had hair before ( a long time ago) it was straight and I used to pay to have it curly, now it’s coming back curly… go figure Happy new year everyone Dare to dream xxxx
I have been getting a lot of questions about Litfulo and how long you need to be on it. As far as I know from the specialists and the research I have done it seems to be a medication you take for life. A few people have taken it and stopped and within weeks they have gone back to been bald or having significant hair loss again. I can only speak for myself when I say this medication has been a miracle for me, having hair again is helping my confidence return and I have had zero side effects. Don’t get me wrong it’s scary but the only thing I am scared of is been taken off the tablets. I honestly don’t think I could cope if that was to happen. Despite been on Litfulo I still constantly check for shredding and touch wood, so far, nothing but every day is a battle of hope and despair. This medication has been a dream come true for me. I just hope and prey I will continue the way I am. God bless to you all, reach out if you need me. Dare to dream xxxx
